Privacy notice
Your application is received and held by Mykhailo Pecherskyi, personally, as the founder of FTB in Phuket, Thailand. Contact: founder@ftbphuket.com.
What you enter in the application forms: your name, contact details, professional background, the links you provide, your answers about life in Phuket and the people you would like to meet, and — if you choose to send one — a photograph. If you answer a question by speaking rather than typing, the recording is turned into text on our own server and then discarded; we keep the text, not the audio. We also record how you reached this site, including advertising campaign identifiers.
Solely to consider your application to FTB, to contact you about it, and to understand which of our advertising reaches the right people. We do not sell it and we do not share it with other members.
If you reply to one of our emails, a copy of your reply is stored alongside your application, so that the person reading it has your words in front of them rather than in a separate mailbox. The copy is held on the same servers as the rest of your application and is covered by everything else on this page, including your right to have it deleted.
This site uses the Meta pixel. When you visit, and again if you submit an application, it tells Meta that the visit happened, so that we can see which of our advertising reaches the right people. If you apply, we also send Meta your email address and phone number in an irreversibly encrypted form — it lets them match you to an advert you may have seen, and it cannot be read back into your details. We send nothing else: not your answers, not your business, not your name in readable form.
You can stop this by blocking third-party scripts in your browser or using an ad blocker. Your application is considered exactly the same either way.
For as long as your application is under consideration, and afterwards while you are a member. If you are not invited, we keep the application for up to 12 months in case circumstances change, then delete it.
You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to founder@ftbphuket.com and we will act on it.
Applications are reviewed with the help of an automated tool that summarises what you have written. It does not decide anything: every decision about membership is made by a person.
